I went crazy a couple days ago, and decided to purchase eight books online. Two are urban fantasy by de Lint, two books on psychology, and four on art. I like an ample selection between fiction and non. :) Normally my non-fiction is related to quantum physics or astronomy, but then a change is good every now and then.
I'm also learning contact juggling. If you don't know what that is, think of that old Jim Hensen movie, Labyrinth, with David Bowie as the Goblin King. Of course, it wasn't really Bowie's hands that were doing the contact juggling with the clear spheres, but you get the point. It's fun and interesting, though I'm afraid I'm going to break something... or somebody. Okay, so I'm not that bad, but I'm still a klutz as usual. Needless to say, it's going to take many, many hours to learn this, what with my jittery hands. It's just going to take persistence.
On that note, I really need to go wall climbing again. My hours at work are starting to pick up a little again, so maybe I'll be able to afford it soon. Unfortunately, even though we're not even on forty hours yet, the store is planning on hiring ten to fifteen new workers. Let me tell you, the decisions of retail management boggles the mind. No wonder there's so many websites and communities against this company. Eh, I guess there's no point complaining.
Sleep time for me! G'night all!
